Bulalo, which varies between a soup and a hearty stew, is one of the Philippines’ most well-known foods. Although Bulalo is famous for its thick broth and succulent, fall-off-the-bones beef, the bone marrows are the component that people fight over the most. It has a few ingredients. The stew’s richness derives primarily from the beef shanks and bone marrow; only a few herbs and vegetables are used to balance the flavour. It simmered the beef shanks and bone marrow for hours to allow most fat and collagen to dissolve and blend into the stock.
